About Us

Hamara Swabhiman Bharat is a Social, Educational, Economical, Trust, Non-Governmental, nonpartisan, and non-profit-making organization. An organization that is registered with the government of India. The organization operates in Mumbai, Maharashtra state of India. Its major goal is to support the rebuilding of life and happiness in the communities, Hamara Swabhiman Bharat nurtures young dreams and molds children and youth into change-makers of their communities and the nation through a range of tailormade development projects.

Hamara Swabhiman Bharat focuses on providing children and youth with quality education, equal opportunities, and an environment to develop holistically. By providing the right combination of educational, extra-curricular, and financial support to poor and orphaned children – as well as youth, Hamara Swabhiman Bharat aims to inspire dreams among those who otherwise do not stand a chance. Its current focus is the restoration of peoples’ hope through economic recovery, capacity building, and psychosocial support for marginalized children especially orphans. These shall be through basic Educational training, practical skills in technical institutions, promotion of hygiene and sanitation in basic primary health care, and sports promotion.

We are working towards the overall development and education of vulnerable groups of orphans especially those who have lost their parents and have no one to care for them. This will improve their lives hence being in line with the millennium development goal of reducing illiteracy levels among the rural poor especially the developing nations or third world countries. Such initiatives facilitate and promote family educational, health, and social needs.

A non-profit organization working delicately and diligently towards the upliftment and education of underprivileged at the same time providing provisions and medication to the families when humanity is going through rough time lives, dignity. Priya Shende & Aishah Shaikh are ladies full of compassion, zeal, and dedication for the alleviation and emancipation of the fellow Indians, who are in dire need of someone being human. The foundation raises funds in altruistic initiatives to distribute provisions and medications to hundreds of underprivileged families thus protecting their lives dignity and self-respect. 

For exemplary dedication to the service of the society & nation, we were honored by the national “Champions of Change Award” by the honorable governor of Maharashtra Mr. Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
